Hotel Bodmi - Grindelwald

The view from my balcony was fine, but the bed was a bit too hard.

That was pretty and stunningly beautiful hotel set in beautiful area, close enough to hiking on trails in the perfect setting offered by the Grindelwald arena. The welcoming staff accommodated all the needs. The room was reasonably spacious, with smoke detectors and great views. The property had a great and brilliant location minutes from First Cable Car. Everything was simply excellent.

Views of the Eiger and a peaceful setting. The breakfast was a good spread, though an earlier start would benefit skiers. The hosts are helpful.

Staying at bodmi was a good experience! The location is just outside the town, providing superb alpine views. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The friendly service from the staff, and the pampering treatments at the spa were a wonderful bonus!

This is a great place for a holiday - really relaxing and a hotel with a lovely ambiance. Rooms are a good size and very clean. The owners & staff are extremely welcoming and are very happy to share their wealth of information about the area with you. Also, they were happy to help us with all our requests (eg booking train to Jungfraujoch) and respond to our many questions.

I liked everything about the Bodmi - I spent a fantastic week there! The Proprietors and Staff were very welcoming,warm and helpful with information and advice. I had a very nice, spacious, comfortable room with a great view of the Alps, and it was kept immaculately clean on a daily basis. The breakfast is excellent, and includes much delicious local produce. The evening meal menu is offers an excelllent choice of local and traditional dishes - the quality of the food is excellent. The location of the Bodmi is quiet and peaceful, yet it is only a 10 minute walk from Grindelwald Centre and the Jungfraubahn to the Eiger, Monch and Jungfrau, and the cable car to First with its spectacular views of the Alps. I highly recommend the Bodmi and I would stay again without hesitation.

My wife and I were only going to stay at the Hotel Bodmi for three nights before moving on to southern Switzerland but we liked the hotel and Grindelwald so much we ended up staying a week there. The hotels pastoral setting on the edge of town was simply stunning. It was quiet and peaceful with magnificent views of the Eiger and other mountains. Elizabeth and Kurt, the owners were wonderful hosts and it was always a real pleasure to talk to them. Their staff too were superb; smiling, helpful and friendly. The rooms were comfortable and spotlessly clean. The food was always excellent and we always looked forward to sampling something new off the menu everynight. We cant fault our stay at all and heartily recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Grindelwald.

Friendly staff, nice view, relatively larger room in the area.

Noise. The soundproofing in the room was not very good. I was looking for a quiet place to relax, but quite disrupted by the loud conversation of the family staying next door. I would recommend this hotel for a family vacation, but not for adult looking for tranquilty.
